Istanbul is the only major city in the world built in between two continents, east and west; a place where different cultures come together. Istanbul remains a city in between its glorious past and an uncertain future as a global city, it is in fact aspiring to be classed with cities such as New York, London, Paris and Rome but it is still a place in transition.
